Our Wedding

We first crossed paths in downtown Savannah in May 2021. Our very first date was simple and perfect, burgers, a walk through the historic streets, and ice cream by the river. At the time, Maggie was in college at Georgia Southern University and Payton was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield.Over the next four years, life brought plenty of change, new jobs, moves, and multiple deployments, but our relationship grew stronger through it all. On April 5, 2025, Payton asked Maggie to marry him in Telfair Square, right in the heart of the city where it all began.We’re so thankful for how God has guided our story and are excited to step into this new season of life together. Surrounded by our closest family and friends, we can’t wait to celebrate the start of our marriage.

Pastels, florals, soft neutrals, and light vibrant hues photograph beautifully and feel right at home in a garden setting.WomenFormal dresses that feel light and romantic are perfect for the occasion. Floor-length gowns or midi-length dresses in floral prints, flowing fabrics, and soft textures are fitting. Heels, wedges, or dressy flats are welcome. Please keep in mind that the event will take place outdoors and you will have to walk in the grass.MenA suit or dress slacks paired with a button-down shirt is recommended. Jackets are encouraged, and ties or bow ties are welcome but optional. Lighter colored suits and spring tones are encouraged to match the season and setting.
